FAQ

How much does it cost?
It is virtually impossible to price tree work without a site visit to assess the logistics of each job. Our quotation procedure is a no-obligation, free-of-charge service. We endeavour to offer our customers high quality work at value-for-money prices.

How soon can the job be done?
Your job will normally be undertaken approximately two weeks from the date the quotation is accepted, dependent on current workload. Please note that as some species may be harmed if pruned at the wrong time of the year, it may be prudent to pre-book the job for a suitable date in the future. If an application to carry out works on a protected tree is to be made, the process may take upwards of six weeks before permission is granted for work to commence.

My tree is too big for my garden. What can be done?
Dependent on tree species, it may be possible to carefully prune the tree to more acceptable dimensions. Some species will not withstand heavy pruning, loosing health and perhaps eventually becoming dangerous. Under these circumstances, it may be more appropriate to remove the current tree and replace it with a more suitable one.

How do I find out if my tree has a TPO or Conservation Area restriction on it?
It is a simple case of phoning your Local Authority and asking. The phone numbers are; Medway 01634 333333, Swale 01795 424341, Canterbury 01227 862 000. If your tree is protected, an application can be made to carry out the proposed works.
